The people of Times Square were graced with the presence of Katy Perry on Friday morning, as the singer hit up Good Morning America to promote her new album Prism.

Perry, 28, hit all the right fashion notes in a fun daisy print dress from the Moschino Cheap & Chic Resort 2014 collection. The “Roar” hit maker finished off her look with knee high socks, plum Dr. Martens, braids and big hoop earrings.

The singer also took the opportunity to unveil the official cover art for Prism, out October 22.

If you missed it on the JUMBOTRON on @GMA, here it is – my #PRISM album cover, shot by the wonderful Ryan McGinley!

The day before, Perry released the official music video for the album’s first single “Roar,” which (finally) took top spot from Robin Thicke‘s “Blurred Lines” on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Thicke’s hit had been number one for 12 consecutive weeks.
