The first teaser for Lindsay Lohan‘s post-rehab interview on Oprah’s Next Chapter made it crystal clear that Oprah Winfrey came ready to ask the ruthless questions. Now in the new extended promo, we get a longer glimpse at just how deep those questions delve.

O gets right to grilling Lohan: “Do you think you are addicted to chaos?” “What’s going to be different this time?” “When you get the first DUI, is that a wakeup call?” “What do you know about yourself now that you wish you’d known six rehabs ago?” And then there’s that doozy of a question we heard in the first sneak peek, when she asks Lohan how it feels to symbolize a “child star gone wrong.”

Still, like the last, this teaser doesn’t offer any answers from Lohan, who just sits back looking a bit befuddled. But you can (hopefully) hear some actual words from her when the full Next Chapter interview airs Sunday, Aug. 18, on OWN.

Though, don’t forget – OWN has also inked a deal to produce an eight-episode docu-series, debuting in 2014, following Lohan as she works to rebuild her post-rehab career. So really, Oprah can’t cut Lilo too down to size, now can she?

Lindsay Lohan

The year was 2005. Lindsay Lohan had just stormed out of the Herbie Fully Loaded premiere, reportedly because a song she recorded for the movie was not used the way she wanted. Previously that year she’d been hospitalized for exhaustion; several months later, she’d be accused of drunkenly driving her car into a van on Robertson Boulevard (though a police report later confirmed that she was sober and not at fault). It was the year she turned 19.

For Lohan, 2005 was the beginning of a slippery slope that would see her transformed from working actress into tabloid fodder. Eight years (and seven stints in rehab) later, Lindsay Lohan is poised to change all that. One week ago today, Lindsay Lohan left treatment at Cliffside Malibu after a nearly 90-day stint. It was, compared to her previous rehab stays, relatively uneventful. Sure, Lohan switched facilities mid-treatment, but there were no late night escapes in search of a Diet Coke this time. By all means, America likes a comeback and Lohan is positioned to be the ultimate comeback kid.

It’s been clear since day one that Lohan was something special. At the age of 17, she’d headlined three movies that grossed more than $65 million (The Parent Trap, Freaky Friday and Mean Girls). Certainly child stardom doesn’t always translate into a successful acting career, just ask Macaulay Culkin, but Lohan showed off a more adult side in A Prairie Home Companion and while her latest, The Canyons, isn’t exactly getting rave reviews, Variety‘s Scott Foundas called her a “fascinating presence,” praising her performance as “one of those performances, like Marlon Brando‘s in Last Tango in Paris, that comes across as some uncanny conflagration of drama and autobiography.”

Internet writers, myself included, have, for years, mocked Lohan’s every move. And it was deserved. The girl who’s saying she doesn’t “need” rehab, calling it “a joke” while she can’t seem to avoid breaking the law is clearly not taking herself seriously, and doesn’t deserve to be taken seriously.

But, this time, so far, Lohan is taking the right steps. She’s been laying low since leaving rehab, save for a light-hearted and self-deprecating appearance on Chelsea Lately. An informal poll of friends and colleagues tells me that most people would be thrilled to see Lohan fulfill the promise of her early-2000 s self. For Lohan, the formula is simple: keep your head down, work hard and impress us. Remind us why we loved you in the first place. We’re eager to recall that feeling.

Lindsay Lohan is free.

After completing three months of court-mandated rehab, the actress left Cliffside Malibu treatment center with a smile on Tuesday.

Lohan, 27, originally checked into the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, Calif., on May 2, as part of a plea deal after she allegedly lied to police in connection to her California car crash last June, violating her earlier probation. But about halfway through her 90-day stint, Lohan switched to Cliffside Malibu, a facility said to be better fit for longer-term treatment.

Now Lohan is primed for a career comeback. Her upcoming movie, the Paul Schrader-directed indie drama The Canyons co-starring adult film actor James Deen, opens on Friday (on iTunes and video on demand). It is also slated to screen at this year’s Venice Film Festival, which will kick off August 28.

But before then, Lohan will hit the small screen. She is set to take over E!’s Chelsea Lately on Monday, replacing host Chelsea Handler to interact with Handler’s sidekick, Chuy, and interview celebrity guests in what the network boasts to be an “all star event.”

Lohan will also sit down for her first post-rehab interview with Oprah Winfrey, set to tape and air on Aug. 18. Following the one-on-one, Winfrey’s network, OWN, will produce an eight-episode docu-series following Lohan as she works to rebuild her post-rehab career. The series will premiere in 2014.

Hollywood news reports that LINDSAY LOHAN has lost her lawsuit against PITBULL over his “Give Me Everything” song, which she claimed had exploited her in its lyrics.

You may remember that Lindsay Lohan slammed and sued Pitbull in 2011 for defaming her in his hit song, “Give Me Everything,” with the lyrics, “I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan.”

Unfortunately for the often-criticized actress, U.S. District judge Denis Hurley has ruled against her lawsuit that claimed the song allegedly violated her civil rights by using her name for commercial purposes without permission because it is protected by the First Amendment as a “work of art.”

Hurley also noted that the “isolated nature of the use of her name” deemed the claims weak. In addition to that, Lindsay’s attorney, Stephanie Ovadia, was sanctioned for reportedly plagiarizing in her court briefing.

The upside of everything was that Lindsay was spared from Pitbull‘s legal team’s request that she should be given a sanction for a “frivolous” lawsuit.

Do you think the decision was unfair or should Lindsay just suck it up?

According to the latest star news, LINDSAY LOHAN is planning to skip all the raging parties… to stay home on New Year’s Eve.

OMG, what?!

MTO 006510

Lindsay Lohan still doesn’t want to go to rehab-even though her father’s literally begging her to so that she can finally fix her out-of-control life-but that doesn’t mean she’s not trying to turn over a new leaf and leave her crazy party girl past behind her.

Apparently, the “Scary Movie 5” star has decided to start the incoming year right by staying away from wild parties and, most importantly, booze on New Year’s Eve… because she thinks it’ll help her avoid jail now that her probation has been revoked.

So what does she have planned for the biggest party night of the year?

TMZ reports:

LiLo‘s plans include a small, quiet dinner in London — where’s she’s visiting — and then it’s straight back to the hotel before the ball drops to chill with family and friends.”

Can’t believe it? Neither can we.

LINDSAY LOHAN wants everyone to know that she didn’t pursue MAX GEORGE… he pursued her!

Really now?

MTO 006522

Ever since her infamous club fight, which was allegedly caused by jealousy over Max‘s affections, Lindsay has been hanging out with The Wanted at their concerts, riding with them on their tour bus, and making out with Max

…making everyone think that she’s been stalking the band-or, more specifically, Max-and acting like a total groupie.

But according to the “Liz & Dick” star, it’s the other way around… the singer is the one who’s been pursuing her.

TMZ reports:

Lindsay‘s telling friends, Max pursued her from the beginning — flirting with her aggressively since that fateful night last week at the club Avenue in NYC… Lindsay also says Max is the one who invited her backstage at Jingle Ball in Philly this week … and he’s also the one who invited her to join The Wanted on their tour bus.”

The site continues:

Lindsay‘s happy to go with the flow — because she really likes Max and enjoys hooking up with him … even though she’s not looking for a serious relationship.”

Do you buy it?

Hollywood news reports that LINDSAY LOHAN has been chugging two liters of vodka per day for months now.

Whoa… That’s a lot!

PRN 041186

Lindsay Lohan didn’t really her word when she promised to stay away from alcohol and drugs because word has it that she’s been “boozing heavily for months now” and downing “TWO LITERS of vodka a day” to cause ease her troubles away.

If true, it should prove that she was already wasted when she showed up at Justin Bieber‘s concert to start stalking her alleged crush, Max George, from the band “The Wanted,” causing her to fight with a woman-for which she got arrested-that same night last Thursday.

TMZ explained:

“According to sources, Lindsay‘s become so stressed by her dire financial situation and the impending probation violation — stemming from her PCH crash this summer — that she’s turned to alcohol for relief.”

The site went on to report that LiLo would start drinking “first thing in the morning” and would continue drinking for the rest of the day.

And here we thought that she’s really been turning her life around!

Do you think Lindsay‘s really been drinking, even when she was on set?

Oh, Elizabeth Taylor!

The movie star who defined a generation, epitomized old Hollywood glamour and proved that a pretty face certainly can act is back.

Well, sort of.

This Sunday night, the late, great legend Ms. Taylor lives on in a special Lifetime biopic starring Lindsay Lohan as the icon herself.

Lohan scored the role in Liz & Dick after admittedly begging directors to cast her as the sumptuous star, whom she idolizes. Recently, LiLo has compared herself to Taylor, citing similarities in love life, mother-daughter relationships and a constant presence in the public eye.

To honor the late Elizabeth Taylor, and in remembrance of her brilliant acting career, this week’s Flashback Friday pays tribute to the enigmatic Ms. Taylor and the way she was.

The film adaptation of Tennessee Williams’ play was nominated for six Academy Awards, including one for Best Actress.

In this clip, a disillusioned Maggie desperately tries to win the attention of her husband, who has become little more than an empty shell of the man she married. Scorned by her husbands lackluster presence, she compares herself to a “cat on a hot tin roof,” a helpless feline constantly getting burned.

LINDSAY LOHAN has one thing to say about her troubled past:

She regrets nothing.

AES 057838

Despite the fact that she hasn’t had a hit movie (or any movie, really) in the last few years, the “Liz & Dick” star still remains a constant subject of Hollywood news and gossip… but it’s never anything good. It’s always about the drunken bar fights, the wild partying, the many rehab stints, and the criminal charges-but never about her work as an actress.

Still, Lindsay doesn’t blame herself for all her widely publicized mishaps-and she certainly doesn’t regret them.

In an interview with Us Weekly, the 26-year-old actress admits:

“I want to be known as an actress, not a troubled starlet… People can think what they want, and the only thing I can do is prove them wrong.”

She continues:

“[I regret] nothing, because then I wouldn’t have been able to cry in scenes at the drop of a hat. I have it tattooed: LIVE WITHOUT REGRETS. I’m not saying I wanted to go to a jail cell, but I’ve drawn from all of it.”

So there you go… Lindsay doesn’t regret a thing-not even all that bad plastic surgery, apparently.
