One Direction opened the 2013 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday with a performance of their new single, “Best Song Ever.”
Your favorite British boy band was assigned to open this year’s Teen Choice Awards last Sunday, and what better way to do it than to perform one of their newest, interestingly-titled songs?
One Direction performed “Best Song Ever”-from their upcoming 3D movie, “This Is Us”-for the first time on live television.
It may be the one of the best songs ever, but it’s definitely not their best performance as they all looked noticeably exhausted. Nonetheless, they were met with great acclaim by the enthusiastic crowd.

Attention 1D fans: grab some popcorn and get ready for the summer — the boys of One Direction are coming soon to a theater near you.
1D3D looks to take lovers of the British boy band by storm with stories from the road, massive fan interaction and intense in-concert visuals.
Morgan Spurlock directed the 3D film, which won’t open in theaters until August. But fans are already psyched to get a look deep behind the scenes with the boys as they goofed around and got down to business on their recent Up All Night tour.
“As a group, we’re stronger than if there were five people by themselves,” said Zayn Malik in the movie’s interview about his bandmates, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam Payne. And the bond between the boys comes through on the big screen, where the brotherhood that comes with fast fame and global recognition helps keep everyone grounded.
Like big behind-the-scenes movies featuring Katy Perry and Justin Bieber that have come before it, 1D3D looks to be a hit with devoted fans and curiosity-seekers alike. All the three artists have taken advantage of advances in film technology to help tell their stories onscreen in a more personal, “you-are-there” style.
