Expect to see more of Angelina Jolie and less of Ellen DeGeneres in the coming months.

Disney announced Wednesday that Jolie’s Maleficent, in which the Oscar winner plays Sleeping Beauty’s arch nemesis, has been pushed ahead of its initial release date. The flick is due in theaters May 30, 2014 to avoid clashing with Transformers 4 and Fast & Furious 7 at the box office.

Though this may be good news for live action fans, Pixar diehards will have to wait yet another year for their movies to hit the silver screen. Both The Good Dinosaur and Finding Nemo‘s follow-up, dubbed Finding Dory, have been delayed until November 25, 2015 and June 17, 2016 respectively.

Previously, DeGeneres’ big Pixar comeback was slated for fall 2015, but the animation studio shift the project in favor of The Good Dinosaur, which centers around the pre-historic adventures of an Apatosaurus and a human boy.

“So kids, let that be a lesson to you – Anything is possible if you’re patient and you beg hard enough on national television,” the comedienne said of her sequel when it was announced in April.

It looks like DeGeneres is going to have to be a little bit more patient now.

The crowd at Disney’s annual D23 Expo in Anaheim, Calif. were in for quite the treat on Saturday, as Angelina Jolie made a surprise visit, all in the name of Maleficent.

The 38-year-old actress’s appearance included a quick chat with the crowd as well as new footage from the film.

“Since I was a little girl, Maleficent was always my favorite,” Jolie said at the event. “I was terrified of her, but I was so drawn to her. I wanted to know more about her, know what she was like and who she was . . . she had this elegance and grace, and yet she was so cruel, just wonderfully and deliciously cruel.” [via Entertainment Weekly]

The Oscar-winning actress also revealed how her daughter Vivienne scored a small role in the live-action film.

“She was the only 4-year-old who wouldn’t scream,” Jolie said, after explaining how other children visiting the set would always “scream and run off” upon seeing her in costume as the villain.

Little Vivienne plays a young Princess Aurora while Elle Fanning portrays the teenage version.

Maleficent is slated for a July 2014 release.

This is what true love looks like!

Brad Pitt gave his lady Angelina Jolie one of the nicest things he could ever give her – besides their children, of course!

He presented his fianc e with a Patek Phillippe Minute Repeater ladies watch, which normally requires a two-year waiting list.

The pretty custom-made gold and mother of pearl time-piece costs almost $400,000 and takes about two months to make.

Each piece is checked by a member of the Stern family, who own Patek Philippe, in Geneva, Switzerland.

A source says:

“He wanted to buy Ange a unique gift that very few people own which is like a piece of art — and the highly sophisticated watch is just that. It chimes sounds based on Big Ben and is constructed by hand. It’s believed he’ll present it to Ange as a pre-wedding gift.”

Oooh, la la! How very nice!

Did Brad have to wait 2 years to get his paws on one of these luxurious watches? Welllll, it’s very possible. The company released the following statement:

“The Patek Philippe Ladies Minute Repeater has a two year waiting list and is only granted to those who apply for the watch and meet the required criteria to own it.”

Only the best for his sweetums!
