It’s always important to dress appropriately for different occasions, and over the years Naomi Campbell has proven to be an expert at that!

The supermodel attended the South-South Awards held at the United Nations in New York City on Sunday wearing a dark navy suit.

While the ensem’s perfect for peaceful politics, the flirty ruffles at the bust and cuffs added a twist that only a fashion icon like Naomi could pull off.

It also appeared that Miz Campbell’s hair was back to its long length after briefly taking the shape of a sassy bob earlier this month.

You know what they say: hair today, gone tomorrow! Ha!

Though Jennifer Lawrence tripped all over her Christian Dior gown at the Oscars, Marion Cotillard showed off her excellent balance in another gorgeous Raf Simons creation.

The actress wore sparkly Louboutins and the black & white striped Dior gown we also recommended for JLaw to the Cesar Film Awards in Paris on Friday night.

And the more mature face of the brand definitely did the beautiful dress justice in a very modern-day Audrey Hepburn in Sabrina sort of way!

If there’s anyone that really makes us nostalgic for old Hollywood, it’s truly Marion!

Lovely!

If they were giving out a special award for ‘Best Dressed’ of the night, she’d win!

Kate Hudson made a bright statement tonight at the Elle Style Awards in London.

The always stylish Ann Taylor model slash designer stepped on to the red carpet wearing a bright orange embroidered gown by her designer BFF Stella McCartney.

A black clutch, gold glitter Christian Louboutin platform pumps and low styled bun completed her look.

Another hit for Miz Hudson!

kristen stewart talbot runhoff 4th annual governors awards

Whether she’s glamming up and looking completely put together or showing up looking like she just rolled out of bed, Kristen Stewart‘s fashion choices are ALWAYS unpredictable!

Just ask her long-suffering stylist, who has to BEG her to keep her heels on for more than five minutes after walking the red carpet!

However, with the exception of the sheer, hobo-chic monstrosity of an outfit that she wore to the Variety Awards Studio just a few short days ago, the Twilight actress has been bringing her A-game to the Hollywood events as of late, most notably with her Breaking Dawn – Part 2 premiere looks!

And last night, while in attendance at the Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences’ 4th Annual Governors Awards held at Hollywood and Highland, she scored another home run in fashion!

Ch-ch-check her out in a stunning Talbot Runhoff dress and Christian Louboutin heels (above)!

The elegant beadwork and lace on the top is just stunning! And we love how the bottom really accentuates her curves!

Of course, she could have TRIED to do something with the hair, but we can only expect so much from her!

Perhaps at the next event she’ll get around to combing it!

new-star-wars-trilogy-writers-chosen

Now that Disney has acquired the Star Wars franchise and announced a brand new trilogy in the works, there’s been all sorts of speculation about who will be selected to helm the next generation of the sci-fi epic!

But in the meantime, the House of Mouse has been busy securing their writers for ALL THREE movies…and for one of the three chosen, this won’t be his first time scripting the world in a galaxy far, far away!

And the other two aren’t too shabby, either!

According to reports, Michael Arndt — who won an Academy Award for writing Little Miss Sunshine, as well being responsible for Toy Story 3 and the upcoming Hunger Games sequel, Catching Fire — has been tapped to pen Episode XII.

Sources close to production have revealed he’s already come up with a 30-40 page OUTLINE of the story he wants to tell!

Holy SHIZ! The ball is ROLLING!

Meanwhile, Lawrence Kasdan, responsible for previous entries The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, has been selected along with Simon Kinberg, known for Sherlock Holmes and Mr. & Mrs. Smith, to take on Episodes XIII and IX!

AH-mazing!

They’ve clearly found quite the combination of emerging new talent and someone with experience telling this type of story, and we couldn’t be more excited to see the direction this new Star Wars will take!

What do U think?? Are U pleased with the new writing team??

taylor-swift-bbc-teen-awards-london-wenn-daniel-deme-1.jpg

Taylor Swift looked as charming as ever at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards on Sunday.

For the London event, Swifty donned a white boat neck alice + olivia dress that was snatched right off Stacey Bendet‘s S/S 2013 runway.

The cutouts at the back showed just enough skin to keep it seksi, but still demure.

Taylor also brought out her Charlotte Olympia kitty heels for the second time in a month, but we don’t mind because they’re just too cute!

Overall, a very simple and sweet awards ensemble.

Does this look have U purring???

emmys-2012-jessica-pare-red-carpet-wenn.jpg

We don’t care what Isaac Mizrahi says, Jessica Par can wear this cold shoulder dress anytime!

The Mad Men actress wore this gorgeous Jason Wu gown at the Emmys in El Lay on Sunday.

Christian Louboutin clutch and Bulgari jewelry completed this flawless red carpet look.

We’re sure you’re loving this old Hollywood look as much as we are, so ch-ch-check out some more pics (below)!

Hello gorgeous!
