If you’re in Milan this weekend, you may want to cancel your shopping plans. Or just hit up the Gucci boutique instead of Dolce & Gabbana!

Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have closed their boutiques in Milan from July 19 to July 21 because they’re mad as hell and they’re not gonna take it anymore!

The designers have shuttered their nine (!) individual stores in the city in order to express their “indignation” at the Councillor for Commerce Franco D’Alfonso‘s negative remarks regarding the pair’s recent tax problems.

D’Alfonso reportedly said that the designers should not be allowed to show their 2014 collections in Milan since they were found guilty of tax evasion last month because, “We don’t need to be represented by tax evaders.”

Ouch!

And even though D’Alfonso apologized for his comments, saying that they were “not given in an interview, but extrapolated from an informal conversation,” Dolce and Gabbana are still offended and will keep their stores closed all weekend long.

But, yay, three-day weekend for all the employees!

We are no longer willing to suffer the charges unjust by the Guardia di Finanza and Italian Revenue Agency, the attacks of the prosecutors and the media pillory to which we have been subjected to for years. This is not only for ourselves, but also for all those who work with us.

Finally, outraged at how we were treated by the City of Milan, we decided to close the shops of the city (nine financial centers) for the next three days starting today. We were born in Milan and to this city we have always been grateful. We must say, however, that in the last thirty years’ in this city we also have given so much back: prestige and international visibility, jobs and economic development.

In our Milan shops alone we employe more than 250 people, who in the coming days will be paid regularly, although the activity will be closed. Despite our passion and the sense of responsibility which will lead us to continue to work with dedication and willingness, we declare that we bare tired of the constant defamation and insults that are taking away serenity from our work and are turning us away from our true work as designers.

We are fortunate to work with people of true and rare excellence, both from the techincal and professional point of view, and in terms of human values, who firmly believe in us and for which all of this is discouraging. The closure of our boutoques in Milan is a sign of our disdain.

Sure, they’ll lose some money, but really, it’s the PRINCIPLE of the matter!

CHRIS BROWN and DRAKE have decided to sue each other over their massive NYC nightclub brawl in June last year.

The war ain’t over yet!

AES 089757

As you may remember, Chris Brown and Drake were initially blamed and sued for the huge club brawl at W.i.P. nightclub in New York in the middle of last year. But because there was no sufficient evidence to prove that they started the bottle-throwing fight-allegedly over their common lady love, Rihanna-that left party goers with pretty serious injuries, they were eventually let off the hook.

But in light of a new suit filed by French model Romain Julien against them and the club, the rappers are now attacking each other… in court.

Now that’s fresh.

TMZ reports:

“Both Drake and Brown have filed legal docs — obtained by TMZ — in which they point the guilty finger at each other. It’s a little technical, but each is asking the judge to pin the blame on the other.”

The report adds:

Drake and Brown each claim they were not responsible for the fight and want the other to pay any damages in the event the model wins his suit.”

At this point, the outcome is pretty unpredictable. Stay tuned…

The latest celebrity news has learned that CHRIS BROWN has shut down his Twitter account after his online feud with comedian JENNY JOHNSON.

Chris Brown decided to delete his Twitter account (again) following his vulgar Twitter feud with comedy writer Jenny Johnson on Sunday where they didn’t hold back on posting the most offensive tweets we’ve seen in a while.

As previously reported, Johnson turned out to be another one of Breezy‘s unforgiving critics when she decided to lash out on the rapper for his violent past with his ex, Rihanna.

While Brown‘s Twitter remains to be offline as of writing, the fame-hungry Johnson has kept hers up for those who would like to reread their spiteful exchange.

Don’t fret though… we know Chris will come back. He always does.

According to recent celebrity news, CHERYL COLE has admitted to cursing out SIMON COWELL after she was fired from the USA edition of “X Factor”…

The gorgeous Brit is finally opening up about her intense reaction to how she was fired from her position as a judge on “X Factor” last year.

Cheryl was initially a judge on the British edition of “X Factor, but was tapped to join Simon as he launched the show in America. However, just one month after she was announced as an official member of the judge’s panel, the singer was abruptly fired from the show and replaced by Nicole Scherzinger.

In her new book, “Cheryl: My Story”, the singer revealed that what made her really angry about the firing was the fact that Simon Cowell didn’t have the guts to tell her himself-the news was delivered by Richard Holloway, executive producer of the show.

Cheryl wrote (as excerpted from The Sun):

“I can’t get over the fact that ‘big man’ Simon, the same guy that told me I had the job and told me ‘don’t wear that hair’ couldn’t tell me I didn’t have the job! The coward didn’t even have the guts to phone or send a message warning me what was coming.”

She continued:

“I was furious with Simon for letting it happen like this. I believed we had a good friendship and I couldn’t understand why he just hadn’t been straight with me… I wrote the longest text ever. I apologise about the bad language, but this is how he made me feel.”

The text, which was full of curse words, went like this:

“F*** you. F*** Britain’s Got Talent. F*** the orange and purple outfit. F*** big hair. F*** the UK X Factor. F*** you all. I hate you. I understand you’re a businessman, and what I’ve learned from this is that business means more to you than friendship. I’m sad it’s got like this and I wish you the best of luck, but count me out.”

Simon tried to talk to her and apologize, but by then Cheryl had decided to cut off all communication with him.

Many months later, when they finally had the chance to talk again, Cheryl revealed what Simon first said to her:

“Taking you off [“X Factor”] was the worst mistake I ever made and if I could have my time back, I wouldn’t do it again… I’m sorry.”

The two eventually patched things up after that, of course.

What do you think of Cheryl‘s reaction to getting fired?

KATHERINE JACKSON recently admitted to celebrity news that she won’t be suing her grown-up children for allegedly deceiving her into going on a “trip” to Arizona.

Are you disappointed?

TDA 0014411 1

As part of grandma Jackson‘s declaration for her bid to share guardianship over Michael Jackson‘s three kids with her 34-year-old grandson, TJ, she suggested that she was sort of tricked into going on her recent “spa trip” to Arizona by her own kids.

But apparently, Katherine is more forgiving than her grandkids, Paris and Prince.

Of course, as many of you know, some of her own kids have been conspiring against Michael‘s estate executors and it was widely reported that they were trying to coax their mother, Katherine, into offering her own support to overthrow the estate-hence the trip that had Michael‘s young kids worried sick about their grandmother.

Perry Sanders, Katherine‘s attorney, revealed to TMZ:

“This chapter of chaos is closed and we are supportive of family unity in spite of recent events and arguably poor decisions.”

Well, we’re still holding our breath.
