Chris Brown‘s reps confirmed Friday night that the singer indeed suffered a seizure at a Los Angeles recording studio earlier that day.

“While in the studio working early this morning, Chris suffered a nonepileptic seizure (NES),” his team said in a statement obtained by Celebuzz. “He was not hospitalized.”

“His doctor tended to him this afternoon and attributes the NES to intense fatigue and extreme emotional stress, both due to the continued onslaught of unfounded legal matters and the nonstop negativity.”

The confirmation came nearly a full day after several outlets reported that a 9-1-1 call had been placed around 1 a.m. PST on Friday, with the caller claiming that the 24-year-old singer had suffered a seizure.

On Saturday morning, Brown (or someone from his camp) posted the following on Twitter:

They won’t love u until u r a memory…

Brown’s sixth studio album, X, drops Aug. 20.

Yep, he really went there.

Chris Brown‘s new interview with JET magazine is making heads turn.

In the publication’s October 2013 issue, the 24-year-old superstar dishes on how his relationship with the press and public has been, some four years after his domestic violence case involving then girlfriend Rihanna.

“This is something I’ve been dealing with for the past maybe five years. Anybody with a voice – Tupac, Michael Jackson, the Notorious B.I.G. – gets formatted,” he tells JET. [via CNN]

“Except maybe for Jay Z, who is accepted by White America because he shakes hands and kisses babies. No disrespect, because I’m a fan, but nobody brings up the fact that he stabbed somebody and sold drugs. He gets a pass.”

Brown of course is referring to HOVA’s 1999 stabbing of record producer Lance “Un” Rivera. Jay Z later pled guilty to a misdemeanor charge.

If that‘s quite possibly the most alarming part of Brown’s chat with JET, is everything else vanilla, you ask?

Nope. He also talks about Florida teen Trayvon Martin, who was shot to death by George Zimmerman in February 2012.

“I identify with Trayvon 100 percent as far as living in 2013 and still dealing with blatant racism,” the singer says. “This generation is so used to racism that it’s normal; we don’t care. We aren’t on drugs or catching AIDS, but they still look at us as ni**as.”

Chris Brown is sinking deeper into legal hot water: he has now been sued in connection to an alleged altercation between his and Frank Ocean‘s entourages earlier this year.

The “Thinkin Bout You” singer’s cousin, Sha’keir Duarte, maintains he was attacked by a member of Brown’s crew during a confrontation between the singers in the parking lot of Los Angeles-area Westlake Recording Studios on January 27, The Associated Press reports.

Duarte is seeking unspecified damages from Brown in Los Angeles Superior Court, claiming he suffered a concussion as well as other collateral damage – like humiliation and mental anguish – as a result of the assault. Brown’s attorney Mark Geragos called the case frivolous, saying he will seek to have it dismissed and will countersue Duarte.

Ocean, for his part, never filed criminal or civil charges against Brown, taking to his Tumblr to announce he chose “peace” in the aftermath of the much-publicized fight.

This is just the latest in Brown’s long-running legal woes. Last month, Brown’s probation – stemming from his 2009 assault of on-and-off girlfriend Rihanna – was revoked as a result of hit-and-run charges from a May car crash, to which he pleaded not guilty. He is now scheduled to be in court on Aug. 15, when a date will be set for a hearing to determine whether or not Brown violated his probation when he left the scene of the accident

As these legal issues have stacked up, Brown suffered a non-epileptic seizure while working in a Los Angeles studio last week. The singer’s publicist, Nicole Perna, blamed the seizure on fatigue and extreme emotional stress, explaining that Brown was examined by a doctor but not hospitalized.

Emergency responders reportedly rushed to a recording studio in Hollywood, Calif., early Friday morning on reports that Chris Brown had a seizure.

TMZ reports a 911 call came in from the renowned Record Plant along North Sycamore Avenue just passed 1:00 a.m. PST on Friday, with the caller claiming that Brown had suffered seizure. But when the Los Angeles Fire Department arrived on the scene, the singer allegedly refused to receive treatment or to be transported to the hospital.

Brown reportedly suffered from seizures as a child. There is no word on his current condition, as friends, fans and his on-and-off girlfriend Karrueche Tran keep him in their thoughts.

Story is developing.

At last year’s Grammy Awards Rihanna was photographed and seated with close friend Katy Perry – this year was a totally different story.

If her songs “We Found Love,” “Birthday Cake” (the remix featuring Chris Brown) and “Nobody’s Business” wasn’t enough of an indicator of Rihanna and Chris Brown’s (Chrihanna) relationship status – telling photos taken at this year’s Grammy’s confirmed the two had rekindled their relationship.

According to US Weekly Katy Perry, “doesn’t approve” of Rihanna’s decision to get back together with Chris Brown and believes she is“making a huge mistake and doesn’t want to be part of it,” their friendship suffering as a result of it.

We are well aware that Rihanna does not like to publicly discuss her relationship with Brown and she has been known to walk out on interviews with the media when they broach the subject. The problem is, her reunion with Brown generates such strong opinions among individuals – those unforgettable graphic photos from four years ago revealing her physical abuse inflicted by Chris Brown, shocked the world.

Rihanna however doesn’t appear to care about public opinion on her personal life as she tells Rolling Stone:

“I wasn’t going to let anybody’s opinion get in the way of that. Even if it’s a mistake, it’s my mistake. After being tormented for so many years, being angry and dark, I’d rather just live my truth and take the backlash. I can handle it.”

Chris Brown and Adele Fighting?

Picture 4

The above photo appeared to show Adele reprimanding Chris Brown because he didn’t stand up to applaud Frank Ocean on his win of the Urban/Contemporary Award of which Brown was also nominated.

His choice to do this only reflected badly on Brown who only weeks ago got into a brawl with Ocean in the recording studio allegedly after Frank called Rihanna a ‘ho.’

Despite the speculation and context the blogs gave to the photo it turned out to be misinterpreted completely as Adele cleared up the rumour by tweeting:

“Chris Brown and I were complimenting each other in that photo actually.”

I think I prefer the blogs version of events…

Chris Brown has notoriously instigated some major Twitter feuds throughout the years, but this time around, he’s using his 140 characters to express a little gratitude.

Taking to her Twitter account, Adele made it clear on Wednesday that she had no drama with Brown after a Grammy photo of the singers surfaced in which she looked like she might be reprimanding the controversial R&B singer.

Chris Brown and I were complimenting each other in that photo actually!- Adele (@OfficialAdele) February 13, 2013

Brown then replied:

Pleasure to meet u @officialadele I heard your words and thats all that matters. Thank u for speaking truth. CB

The infamous pic caused a stir after several media outlets speculated that the British songstress scolded Breezy for failing to join the crowd’s standing ovation as rival Frank Ocean took home the award for Best Urban Contemporary Album (Brown was also nominated in the category).

Brown’s snub toward Ocean comes weeks after the two embroiled in a heated altercation over a parking spot in Los Angeles.

With the situation settled, Brown also took time to post some Valentine’s Day wishes to his female followers:

CB:HAPPY VALENTINES DAY to all the beautiful women in the world. Our Queens….. Our mothers, sisters, and daughters. I love you. – Chris Brown(@chrisbrown) February 15, 2013

And it looks like his message scored high from on-again girlfriend Rihanna. RiRi posted a pic of a pot-leaf-shaped bundle of buds sprouting from a blunt.

Roses are green! Somebody knows how to make me happy

CHRIS BROWN and DRAKE have decided to sue each other over their massive NYC nightclub brawl in June last year.

The war ain’t over yet!

AES 089757

As you may remember, Chris Brown and Drake were initially blamed and sued for the huge club brawl at W.i.P. nightclub in New York in the middle of last year. But because there was no sufficient evidence to prove that they started the bottle-throwing fight-allegedly over their common lady love, Rihanna-that left party goers with pretty serious injuries, they were eventually let off the hook.

But in light of a new suit filed by French model Romain Julien against them and the club, the rappers are now attacking each other… in court.

Now that’s fresh.

TMZ reports:

“Both Drake and Brown have filed legal docs — obtained by TMZ — in which they point the guilty finger at each other. It’s a little technical, but each is asking the judge to pin the blame on the other.”

The report adds:

Drake and Brown each claim they were not responsible for the fight and want the other to pay any damages in the event the model wins his suit.”

At this point, the outcome is pretty unpredictable. Stay tuned…

Celebrity news has learned that CHRIS BROWN and RIHANNA cuddled up to each other in the audience at the 2013 Grammy Awards on Sunday.

Yep, it’s official all right.

Chris Brown and Rihanna sure had no problem about showing some PDA and leaning against each other (see the photo HERE) when they attended the 55th Annual Grammy Awards at the Staples Center. After all, we’ve been warned by their interview… they do have something going on and it’s nobody else’s business.

Regardless, the sight of the two together that evening was a tad bit shocking, considering their horrific altercation-for which Brown is still in probation for-took place on the eve of the 2009 Grammys.

It’s only been 4 years but they seem to have forgotten about it completely, based on their big smiles as they posed for photographers on Sunday night.

Are you okay with this or do you think it’s ridiculous that they’re going public now?

Frank Ocean has chosen “peace” over payback.

Nearly one week after his alleged scuffle with Chris Brown in a Los Angeles parking lot, Ocean confirmed on his Tumblr late Saturday night that he won’t be looking for justice after all.

“As a child I thought if someone jumped me it would result in me murdering or mutilating a man. But as a man I am not a killer,” he wrote in capital letters.

“I’m an artist and a modern person. I’ll choose sanity. No criminal charges. No civil lawsuit. Forgiveness, albeit difficult, is wisdom. Peace, albeit trite, is what I want in my short life. Peace.”

Following the Jan. 27 incident, which involved six people, L.A. County Sherriff spokesman Steve Whitmore confirmed that Ocean, 25, “is desirous of prosecution in this incident.”

Brown, 24, still has one year left in his five-year probation from his 2009 assault on Rihanna.

But as HLN’s Jane Velez-Mitchell said earlier this week, the singer will probably avoid jail time.

“We all know that when big stars violate their probation, if they have high-powered attorneys, they seem to get away without spending any significant time behind bars, if they even visit a jail . . . we do have a two-tiered criminal justice system in this country, one for all of us and one for the rich and famous.”

Ocean is scheduled to perform at the Grammy Awards on Feb. 10.

What do you think of Frank Ocean’s announcement? Do you think he made the right decision?

The latest celebrity news has learned that CHRIS BROWN has shut down his Twitter account after his online feud with comedian JENNY JOHNSON.

AES 081507

Chris Brown decided to delete his Twitter account (again) following his vulgar Twitter feud with comedy writer Jenny Johnson on Sunday where they didn’t hold back on posting the most offensive tweets we’ve seen in a while.

As previously reported, Johnson turned out to be another one of Breezy‘s unforgiving critics when she decided to lash out on the rapper for his violent past with his ex, Rihanna.

While Brown‘s Twitter remains to be offline as of writing, the fame-hungry Johnson has kept hers up for those who would like to reread their spiteful exchange.

Don’t fret though… we know Chris will come back. He always does.
