Last time we saw Jennifer Hudson all dolled up, she was wearing a trippy minidress!

But yesterday at the New York Film Festival screening of The Inevitable Defeat Of Mister & Pete, she took a more somber approach in hat to toe black.

Jennifer worked the red carpet wooden floor in a seksi sheer Aimly Rich top that revealed her bra and pushed up tatas, a short flirty Viktor & Rolf skirt and sheer patterned tights.

The I Can’t Describe singer topped everything off with a wide brim hat, studded Saint Laurent boots and deep red pout.

We don’t know about you, but we prefer a colorful JHud over this.

Thoughts???

It’s always important to dress appropriately for different occasions, and over the years Naomi Campbell has proven to be an expert at that!

The supermodel attended the South-South Awards held at the United Nations in New York City on Sunday wearing a dark navy suit.

While the ensem’s perfect for peaceful politics, the flirty ruffles at the bust and cuffs added a twist that only a fashion icon like Naomi could pull off.

It also appeared that Miz Campbell’s hair was back to its long length after briefly taking the shape of a sassy bob earlier this month.

You know what they say: hair today, gone tomorrow! Ha!

Oh flashbulbs, you naughty things, you.

Mia Wasikowska is the latest in a long line of celebs to unknowingly present their undies for the entire world to see.

On Tuesday evening, the Austraian attended the Tracks premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in a hot pink Azzedine Ala a dress that suddenly rendered itself sheer under the dazzling glare of flashes.

Beneath her frock, Mia wore a two-tone bra with rhinestone trim and matching panties.

Fancy!

We can’t help but admire the sparkle, and we’re sure Jesse Eisenberg can’t either!

These days, Miley Cyrus‘ style is a slew of crop tops, super-short hotpants and grills.

But that doesn’t mean the 20-year-old can’t pull off a fine piece of couture, as she proves pretty well in the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar. Cyrus slips into some high-end fall fashion for a photo shoot with by famed shutterbug Terry Richardson on what looks to be a luxurious estate.

There’s gowns by Giorgio Armani Priv , Valentino Haute Couture, Chanel Haute Couture and Atelier Versace; gems by Dior, Chopard and Bulgari; and a gorgeous Rolls Royce. It’s all very glam for a girl from Nashville.

Scroll through the fashion spread, above. If you want another dose of Cyrus, watch her talk to Harper’s about her favorite style icons, fashion choices, and new-found affinity for grills.

Anyone else out there thinking that Hermes should stick to handbags??

Not that we don’t appreciate when fashion brands branch into other realms, but a $12,000 basketball hand-stitched from the same calfskin used to create Birkin bags just seems a liiiittle ridic.

Especially when the standard NBA ball is a measly $169.95 in comparison!

However, CEO Robert Chavez is convinced that the Pierre-Alexis Dumas created ball will be a slam dunk for at least two customers, since they already have a back-stock of two balls.

A pair of BLUE balls, LOLz!!

Why blue? Well according to Robert:

“It represents the sky, the ocean and all the beautiful pools that are a way of life in L.A. and Southern California. It certainly can be used for play — the leather is sturdy, and why not make such a unique item come to life on the court?”

Well for starters, the monetary risk of losing or damaging the ball may be a tad high.

But then again, if you’re ballin’ enough to dish out $12K on a basketball, we’re guessing money wouldn’t be your number one concern.

Now who wants some blue balls??

In Elle‘s August 2013 issue, Amanda Seyfried opens up about her love life and her riskiest role yet: porn star Linda Lovelace.

Calling it “the riskiest thing that’s happening [in Hollywood] right now,” Seyfried tells the magazine why she decided to take the role, which had initially been offered to her Mean Girls costar Lindsay Lohan. “The first thing you think about is that it could have ruined my career,” she says. “At the same time, I was like, ‘This is my chance to show them, to show the industry, to be recognized.'”

As for her own sex life, Seyfried talks about her desire for immediate sexual attraction: “Sparks don’t grow – your vagina doesn’t become more inclined to wanting someone just because you’re around them.” She also talks about her relationship with ex-boyfriend (and Mamma Mia costar) Dominic Cooper: “We love each other … He’ll always be in my life regardless of what his girlfriends or future wife think.”

But as for her current crush:

[He’s] someone separate from my industry life-I’ve known him since he was 16… I picture him as the father of my children all the time. But it is a fantasy right now.

Helen Mirren, the undisputed Queen of Everything Good in Life, arrived at the Los Angeles premiere of Red 2 last night wearing a bunch of kooky accessories. She did it with her signature “Look at me, I don’t give a f***” attitude that only she can pull off, and it was amazing.

For what it’s worth, the green dress she wore was designed by Elie Saab. But, c’mon, those earrings.

For their third consecutive holiday promotion, Barney’s New York has teamed up with Jay-Z to create “A New York City Christmas” collection.

The limited edition menswear and home partnership, to be sold in Barney’s flagship stores November 20th-January 3rd, features the star’s collaboration with Proenza Schouler, Balenciaga, Balmain, Lanvin, Rick Owens, and The Elder Statesmen.

“With this project, Barneys New York and I were able to take the slickness, energy and innovation of New York City and translate that into quality, timeless pieces,” Jay-Z told Women’s Wear Daily.

Barney’s CEO Mark Lee seconded the star’s statement.

“If you close your eyes and think about who best represents New York and stands for the city, you can’t help but think about shawn Carter,” Leo said. “Jay Z is a born-and-bred New Yorker, and one of the biggest cultural icons of our time – his reach spans across music, sports, business and fashion. He embodies so much that is ‘new york.’ He is a creative force and an entrepreneur. The decision to partner with Jay Z was an easy one – he shares our sensibility, passion and love for New York.”

25% of proceeds from the collection, which features a white, black, silver and gold scheme, will go towards the Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation.

Items range from a $70 cotton tee to a $33,900 Shawn Carter by Hublot 45 mm watch with black alligator straps, deployment buckle and yellow gold movement. For those with tighter purse strings, a polished black ceramic version sells for $17,900. Or perhaps you’re in the market for a color-block cashmere blanket or cashmere ski mask from The Elder Statesman? Barney’s is your oyster, my friend!

Hurrah! The best site to make you feel absolutely horrible about yourself turns five today. The online newsletter, which prides itself on “Make, Go, Get, Do, Be See” and curated by Gwyneth Paltrow is the envy of Blake Livelys the world over, and hated/loved by millions of women like myself.

Many have tried to outdo GOOP, but none have succeeded at rubbing our noses in living like the 1%.

My favorite journal entry was one about air travel. Paltrow called on magazine editor Donna Hay and talent manager Seth Friedman to give readers tips on the best ways to travel.

“Air New Zealand has an amazing looking new feature in economy class on their new 777 service called Sky Couch,” Hay wrote. “You purchase an entire row for just slightly more than two seats would cost.”

With that said, please enjoy our gallery of 10 items to celebrate GOOP’s anniversary.

Last night, Kim Kardashian took advantage of the light California breeze while stopping by 9021Pho in Beverly Hills. There, she cued the heavens to send forth gale-force winds strong enough to simulate a photoshoot, letting her hair take the shape of an octopus, its protein tentacles reaching hither and thither.

Hours later, Kardashian and Kanye West would attempt to make a covert trip to the airport (reportedly to Paris), only to be greeted at 4am by waiting paparazzi.

According to video obtained by TMZ, West was not thrilled to see cameras flashing outside his house. Photographers antagonized the rapper, asking him why he was so upset about having his picture taken.

On Monday, West gave an interview to BBC Radio 1 s Zane Lowe, and explained his plan to make a profit from paparazzi photos of himself.

“I’m going to tell my daughter, by the time she understands what it was, ‘Man, me and your mother were in a completely different situation than you’re in,’ ” West said. “People could take pictures, people could climb over your fence, and you wouldn’t even get paid for it. You see all these checks that you getting at age 6 because people are taking your picture? … I made that happen, Nori. That’s what I’m going to tell her.”

The mid-season premiere of Keeping Up With The Kardashians returns this Sunday on E!
