Oh, to be in that room with all those artists, actors, directors and Jay Z.

Just to remind the rest of us of that fine day in July at the Pace Gallery in New York City, here is the finished product for “Picasso Baby,” Hova’s latest single from Magna Carta… Holy Grail, in performance art film format.

Directed by film and music video extraordinaire Mark Romanek, the nearly 11-minute visual shows the rapper talking about art, signing some posters and hanging out with art people before performing in front of some lucky fans (famous and non-famous).

Some of those famous faces included Judd Apatow, Marina Abramovic, Adam Driver, Jemima Kirke, Taraji P. Henson (who looks super adorable in glasses), Wale, J. Crew Creative Director Jenna Lyons, Rosie Perez and Cynthia Rowley.

Jay Z will spend part of his weekend on stage as his Legends of the Summer stadium tour with Justin Timberlake hits Hershey, Pa. on Sunday.

For now, learn the words to “Picasso Baby” on Directlyrics.

Couples news and a “Doctor” announcement ruled the weekend headlines, and Celebuzz is rounding up the hottest stories just for you.

Papa William reports for polo duty

The Duke of Cambridge aka. Prince William made his first appearance since the birth of his son, HRH Prince George of Cambridge on Saturday in a polo challenge in Ascot. The new father, who was joined at the event by his brother Prince Harry, reportedly said “it’s just nappies, nappies, nappies” since the arrival of baby George.

Hova + celebrities + art = “Picasso Baby”

Jay Z finally unveiled the finished product for his performance art film for “Picasso Baby,” the latest single from Magna Carta… Holy Grail on Friday on HBO. The 10-minute visual included special appearances by pretty much everyone in Hollywood, the art world and beyond.

Elle Macpherson’s a married woman now

It was a huge weekend for Hollywood couples: Elle Macpherson reportedly wed longtime beau Jeffrey Soffer in Fiji,Mortal Instruments: City of Bones star Kevin Zegers married his talent agent ladylove Jaime Feld while Australian actress Teresa Palmer got engaged to actor/director Mark Webber.

Welcome to the world, Luna

A Spanish magazine is reporting that Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem named their second child, a daughter, Luna Encinas Cruz. Luna of course means the moon, while Encinas is actually Bardem’s first surname.

And the new Time Lord is…

After a really, really long wait (which in real time was only two months), the folks at Doctor Who and BBC *finally* revealed that Peter Capaldi has been hired to play the Twelfth Doctor on the series. The Scottish actor’s lengthy resume includes recent films like World War Z (in which he played a W.H.O. Doctor <- UM WHAT) and TV programs The Vicar of Dibley, The Thick of It and Skins.

It’s no secret that Jay Z wasn’t to thrilled with George Zimmerman‘s acquittal in the Trayvon Martin shooting case. So when hip-hop journalist Elliott Wilson asked the rapper how he really felt about the whole situation in a recent interview, Hova let it all out.

“I was really angry, I didn’t sleep for two days,” he admitted in a video interview. “I was really angry about it that the thing that we all knew that there was still a bit of racism in America, but for it to be so blatant. If you just ask the question, ask yourself the question, ‘Didn’t Trayvon have the right to stand his ground?’ He was being chased, he was being chased and fought back. You know, he may have won, that doesn’t mean he’s a criminal, he won. If you try to attack me and I defend myself, how can I be in the wrong? How is that right? This guy went to get some Skittles and go back and watch the All-Star game. He had plans … he had no intention of robbing anyone’s home.”

“We all know it was wrong. It was wrong. This guy’s not a professional,” Jay Z continued. “You’re not a professional to profile someone. A professional law enforcement officer is taught not to profile. This guy’s a novice. This guy’s a f***ing mall cop.”

Zimmerman was found not guilty of second-degree murder on July 13, 2013. Since the verdict, Jay Z had been a fervent supporter of the slain teen’s family, recently attending a rally for Martin with Beyonce.

Furthermore, the 43-year-old praised President Barack Obama for handling the situation with grace and composure. He said:

“Amazing, amazing, amazing because it’s hard in politics to really just make a statement as a human. I felt he was very admirable because he made a statement as a father and as a black man and as someone who had compassion for the things that we go through because he’s been through them before.”

Jay Z isn’t the only celebrity critiquing the case and Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” law: singer Stevie Wonder recently announced his plans to boycott the state until the laws are changed.

For their third consecutive holiday promotion, Barney’s New York has teamed up with Jay-Z to create “A New York City Christmas” collection.

The limited edition menswear and home partnership, to be sold in Barney’s flagship stores November 20th-January 3rd, features the star’s collaboration with Proenza Schouler, Balenciaga, Balmain, Lanvin, Rick Owens, and The Elder Statesmen.

“With this project, Barneys New York and I were able to take the slickness, energy and innovation of New York City and translate that into quality, timeless pieces,” Jay-Z told Women’s Wear Daily.

Barney’s CEO Mark Lee seconded the star’s statement.

“If you close your eyes and think about who best represents New York and stands for the city, you can’t help but think about shawn Carter,” Leo said. “Jay Z is a born-and-bred New Yorker, and one of the biggest cultural icons of our time – his reach spans across music, sports, business and fashion. He embodies so much that is ‘new york.’ He is a creative force and an entrepreneur. The decision to partner with Jay Z was an easy one – he shares our sensibility, passion and love for New York.”

25% of proceeds from the collection, which features a white, black, silver and gold scheme, will go towards the Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation.

Items range from a $70 cotton tee to a $33,900 Shawn Carter by Hublot 45 mm watch with black alligator straps, deployment buckle and yellow gold movement. For those with tighter purse strings, a polished black ceramic version sells for $17,900. Or perhaps you’re in the market for a color-block cashmere blanket or cashmere ski mask from The Elder Statesman? Barney’s is your oyster, my friend!

The Barclays Center, otherwise known as Blue Ivy Carter's childhood home.

Like any other parent, Jay-Z wants his daughter to grow up happy and healthy. Despite Blue Ivy Carter‘s parents’ success, he wants her to feel connected to her roots. This is why Jay-Z decided to build his family a modest $1 billion home in Brooklyn’s Prospect Heights neighborhood. Inside there are more than 18,000 seats, several fully-staffed kitchens and a $1 million nursery; the home is named after a bank. Also, the Brooklyn Nets play home games there.

Forbes reports that Jay-Z must sell his share of the Barclays Center because of his burgeoning sports agency, Roc Nation Sports. The sale will net the Carter family $1.5 million, but you can’t put a price on memories. Gone is the post nailed to the wall where Beyonc painstakingly tracked Blue’s growth. Gone, the friendly concession worker who slipped her extra pur ed peaches. Blue will never spend another New Year’s Eve perched atop the Barclays Center scaffolding, watching Aunt Gwyneth gyrate on stage after Mommy and Daddy thought she was asleep.

Now she’ll be forced to live like a peon atop the Bloomberg Tower where her parents own a measly apartment. She’ll have to sit at lunch with all the other poor kids growing up in New York City landmarks, like that tramp Eloise.

Good luck to you, Blue Ivy.

Yep, he really went there.

Chris Brown‘s new interview with JET magazine is making heads turn.

In the publication’s October 2013 issue, the 24-year-old superstar dishes on how his relationship with the press and public has been, some four years after his domestic violence case involving then girlfriend Rihanna.

“This is something I’ve been dealing with for the past maybe five years. Anybody with a voice – Tupac, Michael Jackson, the Notorious B.I.G. – gets formatted,” he tells JET. [via CNN]

“Except maybe for Jay Z, who is accepted by White America because he shakes hands and kisses babies. No disrespect, because I’m a fan, but nobody brings up the fact that he stabbed somebody and sold drugs. He gets a pass.”

Brown of course is referring to HOVA’s 1999 stabbing of record producer Lance “Un” Rivera. Jay Z later pled guilty to a misdemeanor charge.

If that‘s quite possibly the most alarming part of Brown’s chat with JET, is everything else vanilla, you ask?

Nope. He also talks about Florida teen Trayvon Martin, who was shot to death by George Zimmerman in February 2012.

“I identify with Trayvon 100 percent as far as living in 2013 and still dealing with blatant racism,” the singer says. “This generation is so used to racism that it’s normal; we don’t care. We aren’t on drugs or catching AIDS, but they still look at us as ni**as.”

Pick up the October 2013 issue of JET when it hits newsstands on Monday.

The last 24 hours has been packed with star sightings.

Miley Cyrus continued her European press tour over in Berlin, Germany this week. Despite the warm weather, the “We Can’t Stop” singer was seen clad in a long-sleeved leather dress as she heads to an interview.

Meanwhile in sunny Los Angeles, Ben Affleck and his daughter Violet went for a family drive around the neighborhood. While stopping for gas, the doting dad taught the celebri-tot how to was the windshield of their car. Adorbs!

Speaking of Hollywood fathers, Jay Z was spotted enjoying some me-time at a Legends of the Summer after party in Chicago, sipping on some D’USSE cognac while mingling with the crowd.

Talk about swagger!

To further prove Blue Ivy is the heir apparent of hip hop royalty, Beyonc recently posted a photo of her 17-month-old wearing a pint size jewel-encrusted purple crown by Vivienne Westwood just a month after sharing this adorable snapshot of her daughter sitting on her own throne (well, custom director’s chair).

And although she didn’t add a caption, “Bow Down” (the title of the single her superstar mom released earlier this year) is more than perfect.

But Beyonc didn’t stop there. She also added pictures of items from Blue Ivy’s luxe-worthy closet: a pink frilly dress and mini fuchsia Tom Ford heels that are so gorgeous we wouldn’t be surprised if Suri Cruise is calling the designer right now to snap up a pair for herself.

We absolutely love Blue in all her finery, but our favorite photo is the mother-daughter duo sharing a sweet moment backstage (below).

In a recent interview for her animated film Epic, Beyonc revealed that she tones it down when crooning to her daughter.

“I keep my Beyonc voice for the stage and I have my simple mommy voice,” she laughed. “I remember hearing a story about C line Dion and she was saying, ‘When I sing [to my kids] they cried.'”

After almost two weeks of speculation and swirling rumors, it’s finally official: Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z are going on tour.

On the heels of their Top 10 single, “Suit & Tie,” the music-making duo are hitting the road for the Legends Of The Summer summer stadium. Kicking off July 17 in Toronto, Timberlake and Jay-Z will hop between big cities across North America – from New York City and Chicago to Los Angeles and Philadelphia – before wrapping up Aug. 16 in Miami at Sun Life Stadium.

“What are you doing this summer?!?!” Timberlake tweeted, along with a link to the announcement on his official website. “#LegendsOfTheSummer w. @S_C_”

Just a day before JT blew the lid off the tour, Jay-Z kept the rumor mill rolling by posting photos of various lit-up venues – such an Yankee Stadium, Candlestick Park and the Rose Bowl – on his website, Life + Times, heavily hinting at the tour name with a hastag: #LegendsOfTheSummer.

But before they board the tour bus, Timberlake and Jay-Z – who is expected to release a solo follow-up album to The Blueprint 3 this year – will headline London’s Wireless Festival, a two-day event to take place at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on July 12 and 13.

Confirmation of the Legends Of The Summer tour comes on the heels of news that Timberlake will return to Saturday Night Live for a fifth time, serving as both host and musical guest on March 9. Just two days later, the former N’Sync singer will take over Late Night With Jimmy Fallon during the week of March 11-15, marking the first time a guest has been featured for an entire week.

The appearances will top off Timberlake’s carefully calculated publicity push ahead of his third studio release, The 20/20 Experience, which will hit shelves on March 19. Ever since commencing his musical comeback in early January, Timberlake has stayed in the spotlight: From performing during a pre-Super Bowl party, going old-school on the Grammy stage, wowing a packed-house at Hollywood Palladium, and turning up London at the BRIT Awards, to amassing a following on his new Instagram account, unveiling the album’s artwork and track list, dropping a track penned for his newlywed wife Jessica Biel, “Mirrors”, and debuting his David Fincher-directed “Suit & Tie” music video.
