Well, now we don’t know what to believe!

Paris police have confirmed that they have no record whatsoever of Naomi Campbell‘s alleged mugging that took place in the City of Light last month.

One of the police officers explained:

“A high profile celebrity being attacked in Paris would be something everybody remembers. If such a serious crime had taken place then a criminal enquiry would have started by now – especially if the victim ended up in a wheelchair.”

True! Although we wouldn’t be surprised if Miz Campbell had her billionaire boyfriend pay the cops to keep quiet!

And it still doesn’t explain what happened to the supermodel’s multi-million dollar leg!

We might never know the complete truth, but regardless, we hope Naomi is safe and sound as she sails the seas on her lover’s yacht, or whatever other fabulous destination she may be in right now.

kmart-continues-fab-15-toys-promotion-despite-shooting.jpg

The people of the world may stop, but capitalism doesn’t.

Whenever a tragedy happens, everything changes, unless you’re Kmart.

The retailer took a break from promoting their 15 must-have toys for the holidays on Friday to tweet their condolences (above) for the people in Newton, CT affected by the shooting earlier today, but still threw in the hashtag #fab15toys.

Because what’s a heartfelt tweet without a little shameless promotion?

They have since deleted that tweet, and attempted to do some damage control with a flurry of new tweets hours later:

Attention all: We have decided to halt the remainder of today’s Twitter party due to the events in Connecticut.#Fab15Toys

— Kmart (@Kmart) December 14, 2012

In light of today’s tragic events we have ended the Fab 15 Toy chat and we discourage any further use of the tag. Please pray for #Newtown.

We’re glad they finally realized what’s really important today, and it definitely isn’t toys.

Remember that Jane Austen ring that sold for $236,000 earlier this year to an anonymous buyer?

Turns out it was Kelly Clarkson who had the winning bid!

Unfortunately, after spending all that money, she can’t take it back to the US because the ring’s been declared a “national treasure”.

WTF!? Shouldn’t Sotheby’s have mentioned that before!?

Kelly hasn’t said what she’s going to do with the ring, you know, besides leaving it in the UK.
